Third Party Provisioning
Maybe you already have a great provisioning partner who you know and trust. In such cases you may not want to use our on-board provisioning and that’s perfectly fine. You can still use SARK to quickly generate the extension buckets you need. Just tell SARK not to provision them and it will leave it up to you. Here’s how it works…
When you create extension buckets in SARK it will ask you if you want them provisioned or un-provisioned. You can also choose single or batch, depending upon whether you just want to create one additional extension or a whole bunch in one go. In the example below, we are going to add all the extensions we need in one go.
Click on ‘Unprovisioned batch’ and SARK will ask for a start extension number and how many extensions you would like it to create. In our case we are going to ask SARK to build 50 extensions in one transaction beginning at extension 450.
Press “save” and you’re done. Your extensions are ready to accept registrations. SARK will have generated everything the system needs to begin operation and everything you need to begin provisioning.
