Zero Touch Rollout
To achieve true zero touch rollout you need a couple of things; a scalable, agnostic redirect service and a very slick provisioning system. SARK has both.
For redirection we partner with ProSys from ProVu communications. It’s one of a very few world class, agnostic redirection services. With tens of thousands of endpoints already registered, ProSys peers with all of the major phone vendors to provide redirection and provisioning for a huge range of devices.
Whoever you order your phones from you will need to identify them to your SARK instance. With SARK this is as quick and easy as copying and pasting the device MAC addresses into a box. That’s all SARK needs. Doesn’t matter if the endpoints are different models. Doesn’t matter if they are from different vendors. SARK will figure it out, create the extensions and automatically build the provisioning streams. In the example below we are asking SARK to create and configure phones from Cisco, Panasonic, Snom and Yealink. All in one single transaction.
Create as many extensions as you need in one paste operation. SARK will create the extension buckets and prepare the provisioning templates entirely automatically. Furthermore, when it actually provisions the phones it will scavenge things like model numbers and add them to the database. It will even give you library images of the endpoints so you know what’s where.
That’s all there is to it. The phones can be unboxed and plugged in on arrival at their destination. They will come up, call home to the manufacturer and be redirected to ProSys. ProSys will provide the URL or IP address of the SARK PBX and SARK will deliver the provisioning. That’s Zero Touch Rollout. Anywhere in the world!
